During your first visit, our office staff will discuss any insurance or financial information with you before your appointment. In most cases, we can submit your insurance claims for you, making it easy to take advantage of any dental benefits you have. We will also answer any questions you have about financing and payment options for your dental services.

DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT

Once we get you checked in, you will start your first visit with us by seeing one of our talented hygienists. We use digital x-rays to create images of your teeth and help detect any issues, as well as laser assisted cavity detection. Our dental hygienist will painlessly scan for any signs of decay and periodontal issues before beginning your professional teeth cleaning.

After your cleaning, you will meet with Dr. Carpenter for a thorough dental exam. He will view your x-rays and laser results as well as perform a visible examination of your teeth. After the exam, he will discuss any problem areas that were detected and any treatments that may be needed. In some cases, he may suggest fixing any small issues the same day to save you a trip back to our office.
